Outside of the world of modelling, who are you? What do you love?
Outside of the world of modelling, which has been my career since I was 17, I am a deep thinker and a curious soul. I am fascinated by people and the world, by Indigenous cultures, Eastern philosophy, literature, art, food, nature, architecture. I am also incredibly adventurous.

What does modern femininity mean to you?
Refined and relaxed. In the words of Peggy Guggenheim, "I was a liberated woman long before there was a name for it."
If you never had to think about a trend again, what would you be forever caught wearing?
I don't think about trends, I never have. My style has always been the result of my life and its influences. I grew up in the tropics of far North Queensland where practicality in clothing is necessary. From a young age I was always wearing oversized men's shirts to protect my skin from the sun. This style has remained.
I still wear oversized men's shirts whether I am fishing with my father in Queensland, or attending fittings/castings/jobs in major cities around the world. I like be able to move freely and with ease, a reflection of my mentality perhaps.
The type of clothing I wear reflects this: loose trousers, oversized blazers, mens shirts, sandals and tunics from Morocco and mountain tribes from the places where I have travelled.
I find my articles of clothing by coincidence, vintage Ralph Lauren suede trousers in a small boutique in a hidden lane I happened upon in Prague, for instance, or a hand knit cardigan also by Ralph Lauren in a op shop in the Mojave Desert in California.
The majority of my clothing is second-hand. Material and quality is very important to me, as is sustainability. "There is no beauty in the finest cloth if it makes hunger and unhappiness" (Mahatma Gandhi).

What words do you live and die by?
I am still refining my life philosophy.. but Thoreau is never far from my mind - "Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth."
Tell us something most don't know about you... (until now)
I write. Words to me, are incredibly beautiful.
